Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Skilled Nursing Facility - 3558192Location: Okeechobee, FLA Skilled Nursing Facility in Okeechobee, FL is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its rehabilitation team. This is a full-time, permanent position within a Skilled Nursing and post-acute care setting.The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy services to short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide physical therapy treatments in accordance with established care plansAssist in implementing individualized treatment programsMonitor resident progress and report changes to the supervising Physical TherapistMaintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with Medicare guidelinesSupport safe discharge planning and functional goal progressionCollaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team membersEnsure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standardsRequired Qualifications Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license requiredMinimum 1+ year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or post-acute rehab setting requiredStrong understanding of Medicare Part A and Part B documentation standardsAbility to manage a productive caseload in a SNF environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsCompensation & Structure Full-time, permanent opportunityCompetitive compensation based on experienceStable caseload within a Skilled Nursing settingSupportive interdisciplinary rehab team
