Business Manager
Gormat is seeking a Business Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for various agencies and employees. This role requires maintaining an organized and professional demeanor in meetings with clients, employees, and within Gormat's executive team. The Business Manager's responsibilities are diverse and may include tasks such as managing timecards, resolving discrepancies, staffing, attending teammate meetings, signing and executing teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements, signing and updating purchase orders and modifications, and responding to requests for information or proposals. The Business Manager collaborates closely with various teams within Gormat and its parent company, Axiom, to ensure seamless task completion. Additionally, this role involves regular communication with clients and keeping the Gormat team informed of any new information or tasks that need to be addressed. The Business Manager will also assist the Company President and Director in scheduling special events, activities, and meetings, providing timely updates on these matters.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years of experience in human resources and administrative roles
Experience in recruiting
Knowledge of Federal contracts and regulations (FAR and DFAR)
Familiarity with timekeeping systems
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a friendly demeanor
Attendance at company events as required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with proposal or data call responses
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company and employee information
Capable of meeting deadlines
Government contracting experience is a must
