Pharmacist (RPH)

AvaMed Workforce is a Healthcare Staffing Agency that staffs all of California State Correctional Facilities. At the moment we are in URGENT need of a Pharmacist to take on a Full-Time assignment at the correctional facility located in Sacramento, CA. Position Details:40 Hours per weekLocation: Sacramento, CASchedule: Thursday-Monday 3:00pm-11:30pm (6 Months) (Orientation/Training 2-3 weeks)Rate: $65/hr ($2,600/week)Must obtain an Pharmacist License in the State of California from the Board of Pharmacy. Job Description:Under the direction of the Pharmacist-in-Charge and/or the Institution's Chief ExecutiveOfficer/Chief Medical Executive designee, the Temporary/Relief PHARMshall provide services as permitted within the scope of practice. The PHARM duties shallinclude, but are not limited to the following requirements:a. Review and verify prescription/medication order(s) from the Pharmacist-in-Charge, or other authorized prescribers for completeness, correctness, authenticity and legality;b.
