Provider Network Support Assistant

** The Provider Network Support Assistant will assist the Network Team in building and maintaining effective relationships with the organization's network of physicians, vendors, and contracted health plans, while providing support to internal departments and its affiliates. ** * Acts as the liaison between the medical group’s providers and our contracted health plans. * Act as a point of contact for our providers and provide support as needed. * Provide routine outreach to physicians to maintain constant and positive communication. * Provide resolution and feedback to providers’ issues and inquiries. * Travel throughout the medical group’s service area * Interacts with providers/staff while working closely interdepartmentally to support patient enrollment and retention activities. * Compose correspondences for both network-wide dissemination and individual physicians (incl. physician newsletters, new flashes, letters, etc.). * Development of trainings and materials to communicate the medical group’s policies and procedures to providers and their respective offices. * Execute such trainings and material according to medical group’s policies and procedures. * Monitors timeliness of submission of performance data and follows up with staff and managers to ensure reporting deadlines are met. * Research and analyze information regarding changing business requirements that affect the medical group. * Collaborate with medical group’s Credentialing team to maintain an accurate overview of provider network. * Collaborate with medical group’s Utilization Management team to support provider offices’ requests. * Maintain network directory for the designated geographical area and market. * Makes recommendations to management for process improvements. * Provides general administrative support, including filing confidential correspondence and contracts, distributing provider notices via fax, email, and mail. * Participate in meetings as needed. * Performs other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned. ** * Provider and physician relationship management * Strong verbal and written communication * Customer service and issue resolution * Provider outreach and follow-up * Coordination with internal departments * Training development and delivery * Basic data tracking and deadline monitoring * Research and information gathering * Attention to detail and data accuracy * Organization and time management * Administrative and clerical support * Ability to travel and work independently * Participation in meetings and special projects ** * Able and willing to travel throughout the medical group’s service area * Fluent in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills * Experience in the medical field is strongly preferred * Ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent customer service * Strong analytical and problem solving skills *Location* * Hybrid role with home office with frequent travel supporting new and existing providers within Marin and Napa counties.
