Investment Banking Associate, M&A and Capital Raising

Securities are offered through Finalis Securities LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC, with which Peak Technology Partners is partnered as an unaffiliated entity.Key ResponsibilitiesTransaction Execution: Support the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions; perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live deals.Modeling & Valuation: Develop various financial models including LBO’s, DCF’s, and comparable company/precedent analyses.Marketing Material Development: Conduct the preparation and review of investment memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and pitchbooks.Leadership & Quality Control: Interpret instructions and delegate to Analysts as appropriate; review and verify all documents to ensure total accuracy and consistency.Client Engagement: Attend client and pitch meetings, acting as a key point-of-contact for the firm.Business Development: Support the expansion of the business by developing relationships with prospective clients.Compliance: Maintain required licenses and the highest professional and ethical standards.QualificationsExperience: 3+ years of experience (typically in an Analyst position) in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance.Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA or equivalent is a plus.Technical Proficiency: Strong financial modeling skills and a working knowledge of deal structuring and the closing process.Professional & Communication Skills: Strong networking skills with the ability to synthesize market events into detailed research and analytical insights.Project Management: Ability to set objectives under tight timelines and manage overlapping tasks with frequent priority changes.Software Mastery: Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
