Digital Marketing Manager
OverviewFMI is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our digital marketing efforts. This role is responsible for driving measurable business impact through data informed campaigns, strong alignment with business development teams, and effective use of digital channels.The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands on, with the ability to translate performance insights into action, optimize campaigns in real time, and partner closely with internal stakeholders to support lead generation and client acquisition. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening FMI’s digital presence, enhancing thought leadership reach, and contributing to pipeline growth.This role is preferably based in our Raleigh, NC office; however, remote arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates.All applicants for employment must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full time basis. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a data informed digital marketing strategy aligned with FMI’s growth objectivesLead integrated, cross channel campaigns across paid media, social, email, and web Translate FMI’s brand and thought leadership into compelling digital experiences that engage target audiencesContinuously refine strategy, messaging, and channel mix based on performance insights and market trendsPlan, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and industry publicationsOwn campaign performance across the funnel, with a focus on conversion, cost efficiency, and pipeline contributionApply structured testing such as A B testing, audience segmentation, and creative optimization to improve results over timePartner closely with business development and lead generation teams to align marketing efforts with pipeline and revenue goalsDesign and execute targeted nurture campaigns that move prospects through the buyer journeySupport lead management processes, ensuring timely and effective handoff of qualified leads Optimize segmentation, lead scoring, and lifecycle workflows to improve conversion ratesManage and optimize FMI’s marketing automation platform, HubSpot, to support campaign execution and nurture programsEnsure strong alignment and integration between marketing automation and CRM, Salesforce, systems for accurate tracking and attributionMaintain audience personas and segmentation strategies grounded in performance dataLeverage dashboards and reporting tools to monitor campaign and channel performanceTranslate data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategy, targeting, and content decisionsIdentify trends, gaps, and opportunities across the funnel and recommend improvements Foster a culture of data informed decision making across marketing and business development teamsLead FMI’s social media strategy with a focus on amplifying thought leadership and supporting lead generation and business development activities Enable consultants and bankers to effectively use platforms like LinkedIn to build visibility and relationshipsManage content distribution tools such as Gaggle to ensure consistent, on brand engagementTrack engagement and refine strategies to increase reach and impactAct as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, helping them leverage digital marketing to support client developmentCollaborate across marketing, lead generation, and leadership to align on priorities and outcomesStay current on digital trends, AI tools, and best practices to continuously improve FMI’s marketing effectivenessRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field5+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing, preferably in a B2B or professional services environmentProven experience developing and executing multi-channel campaigns across paid media, email, social, and webStrong proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign ManagerExperience with marketing automation and CRM systems (HubSpot and Salesforce preferred)Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaign performanceExperience with A/B testing, audience segmentation, and conversion optimizationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience in professional services, consulting, or other complex B2B industriesExperience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., dashboards, analytics platforms)Familiarity with content distribution tools and social media management platformsExperience supporting lead generation strategies and working closely with business development teamsKnowledge of digital marketing trends, tools, and emerging technologies, including AI applicationsBase salary range is $90k-$95k plus annual bonus.FMI provides a comprehensive benefit package consisting of paid employee medical insurance, life insurance and LT disability, as well as other benefit elections.
