As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll gain hands on exposure to every phase of project delivery while working alongside experienced project, engineering, and field teams on iconic facade and curtainwall projects.Position OverviewGain exposure to the construction industry, Enclos systems, and project operations while supporting project teams throughout the lifecycle of complex façade and curtainwall projects. This role assists with coordination between project management, engineering, vendors, and field teams to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupport project managers and field teams with day-to-day project coordination activitiesAssist with tracking project schedules, documentation, submittals, RFIs, and closeout materialsCoordinate with vendors, fabrication teams, and field personnel to support material deliveries and project executionObserve and monitor field installation progress, productivity, and quality control activitiesParticipate in project mock-ups, site visits, safety walks, and QA/QC processesMaintain project logs, records, and documentation to support accurate reporting and communicationDevelop an understanding of curtainwall systems, construction materials, fabrication, assembly, and installation processesAssist with take-offs, procurement activities, and vendor communication as neededSupport field coordination efforts to ensure materials, equipment, and supplies are available on-siteLearn project financial and cost control processes including billings, rollouts, and change managementCommunicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and project stakeholdersDemonstrate strong organization, time management, and attention to detail while managing assigned tasksRequirementsBachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University, preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field; and 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Proficiency in Microsoft software in addition to Primavera or other scheduling Software, E-Mail, and Internet.CompensationAt the Enclos family of companies, compensation is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. The successful candidate for the Assistant Project Manager role in Omaha, NE can expect to earn $65,000 to $85,000 per year.
