Senior SQL Database Developer Salary up to 150kLocation:Ohio (remote, with occasional onsite visits in Independence area 3–4 times per year)Details & EnvironmentMust reside in North East Ohio (Remote position with occasional onsite collaboration)Must be a U.S. CitizenMust have equipment to connect securely via VPN Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop complex SQL Server databases, tables, views, stored procedures, and triggersOptimize queries, indexes, and execution plans to improve performance across reporting and data pipelinesDevelop ETL workflows using SSIS and other tools to extract, transform, and load data into reporting systemsDesign and support Power BI and SSRS reports to provide actionable business insightsSupport data integration between warehouses and third-party systemsCollaborate with DBAs and infrastructure teams on database standards, backup, recovery, and security practicesWork with application developers to ensure database design aligns with performance and scalability goals Required Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in SQL Server development (2016/2019/2022 preferred)Advanced T-SQL skills with strong experience in performance tuning and optimizationProven experience with SSIS and ETL pipelinesProficiency in SSRS and Power BI reportingStrong understanding of relational data modeling and normalizationExperience using version control tools (Azure DevOps/TFS or Git)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teamsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
