Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Banquet Cook with hotel experience to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, maintains a clean and efficient workstation, and works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role supports banquet and event operations by preparing high-quality food that meets hotel standards for presentation, taste, and consistency.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and execute banquet menus for events, meetings, and special functionsFollow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelinesMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety and health regulationsAssist with setup, service, and breakdown for banquet events as neededWork closely with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service and timely food productionProperly store, label, and rotate food products (FIFO)Communicate effectively with team members to ensure event timelines are metSupport other kitchen areas when neededQualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 2–3 years of banquet or hotel kitchen experience preferredStrong knowledge of large-scale food preparation and banquet serviceExcellent organizational and time-management skillsProven ability to work cleanly and efficientlyTeam-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysKnowledge of food safety and sanitation standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environmentBenefits: Health, Dental, Life, 401(k) and much more!The company also conducts post-offer employment verifications, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks.
