Job Title: Construction Superintendent Job Description The Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing project site coordination, scheduling of subcontractors and suppliers, site safety, quality, and productivity. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with the entire project building team. Responsibilities Oversee on-site execution of work, ensuring adherence to contract documents, quality standards, and project schedule. Foster strong collaboration with project stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols by conducting orientations and inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing safety plans. Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety through consistent behavior and leadership. Monitor and manage the general conditions budget to support the financial success of the project by controlling and reducing costs. Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and project diaries. Participate in owner meetings to provide updates and address project needs. Secure necessary permits, approvals, and inspections from governmental agencies and utility providers. Lead the preparation and completion of punch lists and closeout documentation. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager/Site Superintendent supporting ground-up, industrial, and/or data center work. Experience with precast and tilt-wall projects. Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam software. Experience in creating look-ahead schedules. OSHA 30 certification. CPR/AED/BBP and First Aid Training. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in industrial construction, construction management, and site development. Skills in construction supervision, quality control, and subcontractor management. Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus. Work Environment The office headquarters are located in Oak Brook, IL, featuring a beautifully renovated office space. Initial training and orientation will occur at this location for the first 1-2 weeks. The project will be based in Dekalb, IL, offering long-term local opportunities. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $72.12/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
