Solidworks CAM Operator/Programmer

Temporary PositionWe are looking to recruit an experienced Production Operative to work within our busy expanding engineering firm.Your responsibilities will include –Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and proceduresReading and understanding written work instructions, engineering drawings and other manufacturing documentationMachine operatingComply with polices and guidelinesComplete all related paperworkMaintain a clean and organised work areaEnsuring all health and safety standards are adhered toThe PersonPrevious experience within a similar roleExcellent understanding of the English language – both oral and writtenAbility to work under pressureEye for detailThe Package£ competitive temporary to permanent assignmentHours of work Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 2pmPart time Administrator required to manage the engineering office within a growing busy engineering environment.Your responsibilities will include –Assist management with general administrative tasksProduce correspondence and other documentationRecording of Goods In/OutCustomer liaisonArranging customer deliveries with our logistics partnersSupport with purchasing requirementsGeneral office tasksThe PersonExperienced administrator with an understanding gained from the manufacturing sectorWorking knowledge of software packages including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.Attention to detailClear communicator with a good telephone manner.The PackagePart time hours to suit£ competitive rateThe role will require you to –Set and operate CNC machinesGeneration of CNC programmes using SolidworksThe person –Apprentice trained mechanical engineer with experience of programming and operating milling machines, CNC lathes who has the ability to read engineering drawings.Strong engineering background spent within ‘engineered to order’ environment.
