Registered Nurse Supervisor 11p-7a EVERY WEEKEND

Ark healthcare & Rehabilitation at St. Camillus Center - Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitiation at St. Camillus, Fairfield County's premier 124 bed LTC and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse Supervisor, every weekend, for our 11p-7a shift.The Registered Nurse Supervisor must:Be responsible for the overall operation and quality of care for the residents on the assigned unit.Be able to follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and the Nursing Policies and Procedures.Have the ability to read, write and comprehend English; the ability to follow oral and written instructions.Have an Interest in the nursing needs of aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both.Have to ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and facility staff in the performance of duties and work within a team systemBe available to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment. on call, as necessary.Minimum one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred.Have knowledge of nursing theory and practice, including the administration of medicationsCPR/IV certifiedQualified Applicants will possess:A Valid State of Connecticut RN LicenseAt least one year of experience within Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facility settingHave previous experience in a Supervisor role within a SNFArk Healthcare and Rehabilitation is an EOE
