Executive Assistant
Position Overview:
The Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer provides high-level administrative and executive support within a real estate development organization. This position serves as a key point of coordination for executive scheduling, development-related correspondence, municipal documentation, and project administration. The role requires professionalism, discretion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Manhattan, Kansas.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Chief Executive Officer
Manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, correspondence, and priorities
Prepare agendas, reports, and executive materials
Receive, log, and route incoming mail related to development projects
Track permits, applications, inspections, and municipal deadlines
Coordinate with city offices, consultants, and external stakeholders
Maintain accurate digital and physical project files
Track action items, approvals, and follow-ups across active projects
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Manage travel arrangements and personal/family office tasks to ensure the CEO’s maximum efficiency
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an executive assistant or high-level administrative role
Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership
Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
High level of professionalism, judgment, and confidentiality
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in real estate development, construction, or finance
Familiarity with permitting, inspections, and city processes
Experience interacting with external stakeholders and regulatory agencies
Familiarity with project management software like Trello
A strong understanding of the Manhattan, KS community and local business landscape
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
