We power mission-critical payment processing platforms used by merchants and partners across the U.S.We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to support our Merchant Services accounting operations.This role is hands-on and data-heavy, focused on ensuring accurate financial reporting, daily transaction validation, and timely reconciliations across multiple payment streams. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to keep everything balanced, clean, and on track.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily, weekly, and monthly accounting operations across payment processing activitiesReview merchant reports to accurately record income, expenses, and transaction activityValidate settlement files across multiple processing platformsPrepare and submit general ledger and bank account entries with proper documentationPerform reconciliations for general ledger accounts and bank (DDA) accountsAssist with monthly and quarterly close processes and reporting deadlinesIdentify discrepancies, variances, or abnormal trends in settlement or billing dataInvestigate and resolve issues at the merchant or portfolio levelMaintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with internal controlsQualifications2+ years of accounting or finance experience Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) Comfortable working with large datasets and high-volume transactions Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Experience in payments, fintech, or high-volume transaction environments is a plus SalaryThis role includes biannual profit-sharing bonuses as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, retirement planning, and other benefits.Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000Salary including biannual profit-sharing bonus and comprehensive benefits program range (annualized): $73,725 - $85,725LOCATION: This role requires the employee to work fully onsite at our Anaheim Hills location.WHY WORK HERE?Awarded Top Workplace of Orange County by the OC Register!Flex PTO!New state-of-the-art, open-concept facility with stand-up desks, balance boards, stationary bikes, and more!Work hard, play hard culture!Monthly Beer Socials and BBQs!Proven "promote from within" mentality!Benefit offerings: Medical, dental, vision, acupuncture, and chiropractic401k Safe Harbor; 100% employer match processed semi-monthly, up to 4%Profit Sharing; paid on a biannual basisSalary: $55000 - $65000 per year
