Principal DevOps Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead enterprise cloud infrastructure, platform architecture, delivery automation, observability, and modernization initiatives. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with architecture and technical leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end cloud and platform architecture and technology roadmaps.
- Lead enterprise-scale infrastructure and DevOps modernization initiatives.
- Architect secure and scalable platforms using AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and containers.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code and reusable automation standards using Terraform, ARM, CFT/CDK, and Chef.
- Define and govern enterprise CI/CD and deployment automation practices.
- Establish monitoring and observability standards using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Splunk.
- Lead technical decisions, platform reliability improvements, and production issue resolution.
- Establish infrastructure, security, testing, and automation best practices.
- Manage technical risks and dependencies across teams.
- Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.10+ years of DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or delivery automation experience.
Strong experience leading enterprise platform architecture and cloud modernization initiatives.
Proven experience establishing engineering standards and mentoring technical teams.
