Operations and Sales Summer Internship ProgramCompensation: $23.00/hr + relocation assistance if applicableSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Our unique Rotating Operations and Sales Intern Program blends the Operations and Sales side of the scrap metal recycling business. The goal of the Internship Program is to thoroughly learn all facets of the scrap metal recycling industry from the ground up and join the team after graduation. This program will give you the full picture of what a career in scrap metal recycling could look like.You will learn alongside operations teammates and leaders to master the fundamentals of scrap metal material identification, safety, daily operations, supply chain, logistics, and transportation. You will shadow commercial teammates and learn how we develop, grow, and maintain relationships with customers to create business opportunities. This program is very hands-on.
