HR Project Manager
Conair is seeking a highly strategic, execution-driven HR Project Manager to support the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in driving enterprise-level initiatives and advancing the company's transformation agenda. This newly created role will lead complex, cross-functional HR projects, prepare materials for executive and board discussions, and partner closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders. The ideal candidate combines strong HR acumen with exceptional project management discipline, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and brings the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans that deliver measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project & Program Leadership
Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and governance of high-priority HR and organizational initiatives.
Manage projects related to organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, HR technology, and enterprise transformation.
Develop project plans, timelines, communication frameworks, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Monitor progress, identify risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Prepare executive-ready updates, dashboards, and materials for CHRO briefings and board meetings.
Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management
Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to assess organizational effectiveness and recommend improvement opportunities.
Support the design and implementation of organizational changes aligned with Conair's strategic priorities.
Build and execute change management plans that promote adoption, minimize disruption, and strengthen employee engagement.
Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and alignment meetings to drive clarity and momentum.
Support the development of enterprise HR frameworks, playbooks, and operating models.
HR Strategy, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
Partner with the CHRO to advance the HR strategic roadmap and transformation priorities.
Analyze HR metrics and organizational data to inform decision-making and project prioritization.
Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable, repeatable solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in HR, project management, business operations, or organizational effectiveness.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment.
Strong understanding of HR functions, organizational design, and change management principles.
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to craft executive-ready presentations and board-level materials.
Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and facilitation capabilities.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Microsoft Project).
Background in transformation, restructuring, or high-growth environments.
Environmental Factors
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
This role requires Stamford, CT office on-site presence Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere on Fridays.
