Information System Security Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team.Responsibilities IncludeIdentify security needs for IS and Network Environments in line with cybersecurity standards.Design security architectures and develop cybersecurity-enabled products for these environments.Integrate and implement security measures, including Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).Develop and apply security designs for network systems, ensuring hardware, OS, and software meet cybersecurity requirements.Implement network security measures ensuring confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.Create interface specifications, recommend vulnerability mitigations, and support FBI-directed cybersecurity solutions.Qualifications IncludeExperience aligned with educational background, e.g., 14+ years with high school diploma, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree.Certifications such as CISSP, CASP CE, CSSLP, or related security credentials.Familiarity with security tools like Nessus, IBM Guardium, NMAP, and similar applications.Knowledge of NIST RMF and ATO processes.Preferred qualifications: Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.Security clearance: Must hold a current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and be willing to undergo a Polygraph.Physical requirements: Ability to remain stationary, operate office equipment, access lab hardware, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
