Contract Operator

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a **Manufacturing Technician** role. This position involves safely operating production equipment, supporting material movement, and maintaining compliance with all quality and safety standards. If you have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy hands‐on work in a fast‐paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.**Responsibilities**+ Follow all **health, safety, and environmental** policies and procedures at all times.+ Transport raw materials between **Building 8165 and 8159** ; stage materials for upcoming production runs.+ Prepare for production, including **weighing and staging raw materials** .+ Repackage raw materials for resale according to specifications.+ Perform all manufacturing duties in alignment with approved **work instructions** , including:+ Operate IBC and Blender Column Lifts.+ Assemble blenders and charge with dry powders and plasticizer.+ Discharge blended materials into packaging or IBCs.+ Disassemble and clean blenders, IBCs, and tools using the Clean‐in‐Place system.+ Operate sifters/screeners, Fitz Mill, Frewitt Mill, dust collectors, and other auxiliary equipment.+ Package finished product according to SOPs.+ Complete all **GMP documentation** accurately and timely.+ Perform daily and weekly housekeeping responsibilities.+ Conduct daily checks and equipment verifications as required.+ Work effectively with minimal supervision.**Minimum Qualifications**+ High School Diploma or AA degree, or equivalent experience.+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.+ Ability to become **forklift certified** (on‐site training provided).+ Ability to use SAP for basic functions, including raw material inventory lookups.+ High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management.+ Demonstrated **mechanical aptitude** for assembling/disassembling equipment.**Physical Requirements**+ Ability to lift **up to 55 kg (approx. 121 lbs)** .+ Ability to work in environments with **strong magnets** .+ Must be able to wear a respirator; **FIT Test required** .+ Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.Schedule 12 hour shifts 36/48**Pay Details:** $19.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
