Delivery Helpers WantedWe're hiring Delivery Helpers to support our Box Truck Drivers in New Castle, DE. In this full-time role, you'll ride alongside a driver in a 16-foot box truck and help load, unload, and deliver packages to homes and businesses. You'll also serve as an extra set of eyes on the roadhelping with navigation, spotting obstacles, assisting with backing up, and improving route efficiency.This is a hands-on, fast-paced job that requires strong communication, situational awareness, and teamwork.Company DescriptionWilminvest Logistics, a division of Wilminvest, is more than just a delivery company. At Wilminvest Logistics, we're creating stable communitiesone package at a time.QualificationsWhat You'll DoAssist with loading and unloading packages, using hand trucks and safety gear providedDeliver packages up to 72 lbs and assist with heavier packages using proper team-lifting techniquesRide alongside the driver as a spotter and navigatorhelp monitor surroundings, and assist with parking and backingSupport the driver by confirming addresses, keeping pace, and staying organizedClimb stairs, navigate tight spaces, and work in all types of weatherEnsure every delivery is handled with professionalism and careCommunicate clearly with the driver and report any safety concerns or delivery issuesAdditional InformationAs a Delivery Helper, You'll Need to:Be 18 years or olderBe physically able to lift and move packages throughout the shiftBe alert, reliable, and confident in giving clear instructions while on the roadBring strong communication skills, situational awareness, and a team-first mindsetBe able to work in various weather conditions and handle stairs or narrow walkwaysStay focused and support your driver from start to finishCompensation: $17.00/hour paid weekly.
