Cloud and Software Security Engineer

A leading aerospace and defence organisation is looking for a Cloud and Software Security Engineer. This role involves driving secure software solutions into complex hybrid-cloud engineering environments within a high-stakes portfolio.What You'll Be DoingIncorporate key security concepts through the initial planning, design, and implementation of complex engineering environments spanning multiple sites.Collaborate closely with program customers to support the definition of security requirements and enable seamless systems integration.Engage with multiple engineering disciplines including cloud computing, AI/ML, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps.Build and integrate security tools into the DevSecOps pipeline to enable supply chain risk management and secure coding practices.Provide security expertise to program management and engineering teams through technical design reviews and program gate reviews.What We're Looking ForBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics.Experience with secure multi-cloud solutions and on-premise compute environments.Familiarity with Cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) and Security Policy Enforcement.Ability to perform criticality, adversity, and threat analysis for complex systems.Legally authorized to work in the United States.What's On OfferSalary: £95,200 - £128,800 annualComprehensive tuition reimbursement program for continuous learning.Mentorship opportunities and professional development pathways.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge military and aerospace capabilities.Collaborative environment with a diverse team of security architects.Apply via Hyra to be considered for this opportunity.
