Supply Chain Manager
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. This role manages procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and supplier relationships to ensure efficient operations, cost control, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to improve supply chain performance and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with production goals and business objectives.
Oversee production planning in coordination with manufacturing teams.
Manage procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and customer shipments.
Monitor inventory levels to balance availability with cost efficiency and minimize waste.
Manage risk mitigation strategies related to supply chain disruptions.
Maintain a robust process for tracking imposed tariffs, ensuring accurate application and reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee and strengthen PPV (Purchase Price Variance) and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) processes to ensure cost control, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Analyze supply chain data and KPIs (OTD, inventory health/aging, PPV, supplier performance) to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making; publish metrics, lead reviews, drive action closure, and report status to leadership on a defined cadence.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost savings.
Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain and logistics staff.
Foster a culture that recognizes and celebrates team accomplishments to sustain engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
Senior Supply Chain Professional with 12+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specializing in:
Demand Planning
Inventory Control
Supplier Management
Procurement
Production Planning
Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and production planning
Proven ability to facilitate team engagement and execution during conflict/high-pressure discussions.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems
Proven leadership and team management experience
Change management experience
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Knowledge of ISO9001/13485
Preferred Qualifications
Multi-site & international sourcing and global logistics experience.
Professional certifications (ASCM CPIM/CSCP, CPSM, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)
Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and supply chain optimization
Cost reduction & process improvement track record
