Our company handles the entire flow of providing these products and services beginning with Sales, Provisioning, Design and Engineering, Contracting and Construction, Servicing and Maintenance.JOB SUMMARYAs a Building & Operations Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the company's operational infrastructure, facilities, logistics, field support operations, and administrative systems to ensure the organization runs efficiently on a daily basis. This role serves as a key operational leader between executive management, office staff, vendors, and field foremen. Responsibilities include managing company facilities, overseeing insurances and renewals, supporting construction crews and field operations, managing PPE logistics, coordinating vendors, and implementing operational procedures that support company growth and efficiency. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations across both office and field environments while improving communication, accountability, and organizational processes throughout the company.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESOversee daily operations for our office, warehouse, and field operationsManage building operations including HVAC, plumbing, repairs, maintenance, security systems, and vendor coordinationServe as the primary operational liaison between executive leadership, office staff, project managers, and field foremenManage company insurances, renewals, licenses, permits, registrations, and compliance documentationCoordinate logistics and operational support for construction crews across active job sitesOversee company operations including maintenance, tracking, registrations, insurance, and driver coordinationManage procurement, inventory, and distribution of PPE, tools, office equipment, and operational suppliesSupport onboarding logistics including account setup, equipment assignment, and operational coordination for new hiresCoordinate IT and operational software support including computers, user accounts, software licensing, and vendor managementDevelop and improve operational procedures, workflows, and organizational systemsManage relationships with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, maintenance providers, and external service partnersSupport scheduling, travel coordination, company events, and executive operational needsMaintain organized filing systems, operational records, and tracking documentationAssist with operational budgeting, purchasing approvals, and expense trackingSupport safety compliance initiatives and company operational standardsTrack operational performance and recommend process improvements to leadershipTrain and support administrative and operational staff as neededOther duties as assignedQualifications5 years of experience in operations management, construction operations, facilities management, or a related fieldStrong understanding of logistic, vendor coordination, and operational workflowsExperience managing company insurances, compliance documentation, and operational recordsKnowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA requirementsStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organizationProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong attention to detail and process-oriented mindsetPhysical RequirementsAbility to remain in a stationary position and work at a computer for extended periods of timeAbility to occasionally move throughout office, warehouse, and construction site environmentsAbility to occasionally lift and move items up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to travel between company offices, job sites, and operational facilities as needed, with or without reasonable accommodationAAP/EEO StatementZero Impact Energy is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
