Tax Manager - $150k+ +Bonus

We service our clients primarily in the NYC Metro area, as well as nationally through our AAFA and NPA networks.Our client is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager who will oversee the income tax compliance and provision process, as well as take part in strategic tax planning and resolve tax audits at the Federal and state level. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities are key to success in this position.Compensation: $150,000+ +BonusWorkplace Policy: Hybrid - 2x/week in officeResponsibilities:Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local income tax returnsManage federal, state, and local tax payments and correspondencePrepare and review income tax provision calculations under IFRS & GAAPCoordinate and manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authoritiesIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax compliance and reportingDevelop & manage relationships with outside consultantsAssist, implement and maintain tax planning strategies to maximize tax saving initiatives.Ad hoc tax projectsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA/MST preferredMinimum of 5 years of income tax experience in a public accounting or public accounting/private industry settingInsurance experience a plusProficiency with Tax software, OneSource, SAPEffective communication and interpersonal skills
