Title: Deep Learning Computer Vision Engineer Job Type: Contract Contract Length: 12 Months Pay Range: $50/hr – $175/hr Start Date: ASAP Location: Remote About The Opportunity Our client, a leader in AI testing and development, is looking for a skilled Deep Learning Computer Vision Engineer to join their team for a 12-month engagement. This project involves designing, training, and optimizing computer vision models for complex object detection, classification, and production deployment. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables Designing and training Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) or Vision Transformers (ViTs) for object detection and classification. Optimizing computer vision models for edge deployment or mobile devices (e.g., using ONNX or TensorRT). Building data labeling pipelines and managing large-scale image/video datasets for training. Implementing real-time video analytics or image processing algorithms within production environments. Researching and implementing state-of-the-art vision papers to solve specific product challenges. Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of experience in Computer Vision or Deep Learning. Deep expertise in OpenCV, PyTorch, and CUDA-accelerated processing. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject-matter expert. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
