Job Summary:The Warehouse and Shipping Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate handling, processing, and shipping of products in compliance with company policies, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines. This role supports inventory control, documentation accuracy, shipping logistics, and maintains a safe and organized warehouse environment.Key Responsibilities:Follow batch records, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines to ensure all product specifications and tolerances are met.Maintain full compliance with company policies, procedures, GMPs, Ethical Business Practices, and SOPs at all times.Complete all required documentation such as operation logs and batch records, ensuring they are accurate, signed, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders (POs) to sales orders, Certificates of Analysis (COA), Bills of Lading, and packing slips.Communicate discrepancies or issues with orders to the supply chain and Quality Assurance (QA) departments.Prepare products for shipment by verifying labels, generating packing slips, and creating Bills of Lading.Review customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.Verify that all purchase orders are completed and received by the end of each workday.Respond to phone inquiries related to purchase orders and receiving operations.Report any discrepancies or issues (e.g., PO mismatches, system errors) to management and department leads for re-verification.Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.Organize materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins based on predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to shipping or designated driver storage areas.Work with carriers to obtain freight quotes for outgoing shipments.Ensure the warehouse remains accessible and safe for associates and customer traffic.Assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to holding or shipping areas.Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.Record quantities of materials received or distributed using SAP, Excel, or Word.Assist with physical inventory counts as needed.Weigh and count items to ensure conformance with company standards.Perform facilities maintenance duties as assigned.Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.Prepare parcels for mailing.Qualifications:Experience in warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving preferred.Knowledge of SOPs, cGMP, and compliance standards a plus.Proficient in documentation and inventory software (SAP, Excel, Word).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and external carriers.Capable of lifting and moving materials as required.Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.
