Apply via Dice today!7219 - Senior SAP BASIS Administrator (Cloud & S/4HANA) Must Reside in Sacramento to be ConsideredWe are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BASIS Administrator to support and maintain complex enterprise SAP environments across both on-premises and cloud platforms. This role is responsible for SAP system administration, architecture support, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, migrations, and performance optimization across a broad SAP ecosystem. This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting enterprise-scale SAP operations and modernization initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide SAP BASIS administration and technical support for enterprise SAP environmentsSupport SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, BOBJ, PO, HANA, Fiori/Gateway, BTP, SuccessFactors, SAC, Datasphere, Cloud Connector, and related technologiesPerform SAP installations, upgrades, patching, migrations, refreshes, backups, restores, and troubleshootingSupport both SAP ABAP and JAVA stack environmentsMonitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning activitiesConfigure and maintain SAP systems in both cloud and on-premises environmentsTroubleshoot complex production issues and coordinate with infrastructure, security, network, and development teamsSupport SAP Cloud solutions including SAP RISE and S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition environments hosted in AzureMaintain system documentation, disaster recovery procedures, backup policies, and operational processesSupport batch jobs, scripts, integrations, and automation effortsParticipate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and system resiliency initiativesProvide on-call and after-hours production support as neededCollaborate with business and technical teams to resolve outages, performance issues, and system defectsRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience as an SAP BASIS Administrator supporting enterprise SAP environmentsExperience supporting both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacksExperience supporting SAP Cloud implementations, upgrades, or migrationsHands-on experience with SAP RISE / SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition environments deployed in AzureStrong experience administering both SAP and non-SAP enterprise applications in cloud and on-premises environmentsExperience with SAP system design, configuration, lifecycle management, and technical issue resolutionExperience with operating systems including UNIX, Linux, Windows, and AIXExperience supporting the following SAP technologies:ECC6S/4HANABWCRMBOBJPOBPCHANASAP BTPSuccessFactorsCloud ConnectorFiori/GatewaySACBusiness Data Cloud (BDC)DatasphereSolution ManagerExperience supporting SAP cloud technologies including:Integration SuiteCloud ALMJouleDP AgentSignavioCloud Identity ServicesStrong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to support after-hours and weekend production activities when requiredDesired QualificationsCurrent SAP certifications related to SAP BASIS, S/4HANA, Cloud, or related technologiesBachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldDeep knowledge of SAP cloud offerings and hyperscaler environmentsExperience with SAP system refresh tools such as LAMA or SAP PCA Add-onExperience administering NetWeaver Java Stack solutions including Adobe Document Services, Process Orchestration, and System Landscape DirectoryExperience with SAP change management tools including CTS+ and cloud/non-ABAP transportsExperience administering SAP environments in DB2/AIX and RHEL environmentsAdditional InformationLong-term contract opportunity through 12/31/2026Must be authorized to work in the United StatesMust be available during standard Pacific Time business hoursAfter-hours and on-call support responsibilities are required
