Finance Operations Manager

The RoleWe are seeking a Financial Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting and financial operations at our site. This role is responsible for overseeing a team that manages all plant-level financial activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial statements, supporting month-end close, and partnering closely with operations and corporate teams to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the finance operations team, fostering accountability and continuous improvementOversee cost accounting and inventory valuation, identifying opportunities to improve processes and accuracyManage inventory accounting, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goodsDirect month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognitionReview and approve balance sheet reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracySupport financial statement preparation and communicate key insights to leadershipPartner with operations, finance business partners, and corporate teams to ensure alignment and complianceCoordinate internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and implementation of recommendationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentPrior experience leading or supervising a teamStrong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRSExperience with ERP systemsAdvanced Excel skills, including data analysis and manipulation
