Job Description Job Title: Shipping LeadJob DescriptionThe Shipping Lead is responsible for managing all raw materials entering the facility and ensuring that finished goods are shipped out correctly. The role involves leading projects within the warehouse, conducting inventory checks, and using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move products. Proficiency in using computers for inventory management is essential. The position requires significant walking and the packaging of products for shipment.ResponsibilitiesManage all incoming raw materials and ensure finished goods are shipped correctly.Lead projects within the warehouse to improve efficiency.Conduct inventory checks to ensure levels are accurate.Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks to move products safely.Use computers to monitor and manage inventory levels.Perform packaging of products for shipment.Engage in significant walking throughout the warehouse.Essential Skills1+ year of leadership experience.At least 4 years of forklift, narrow aisle forklift, or cherry picker experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, particularly in picking and packing.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the plastics industry is a plus but not required.Strong computer skills for inventory management.Why Work Here?Enjoy the benefits of paid holidays once you become a full-time employee and accrue 3 weeks of PTO in your first year. There is no repetitive lifting, but you will be required to lift boxes weighing between 1 to 35 pounds throughout the day. Occasionally, you will need to carry boxes up an industrial ladder to store them in the warehouse.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
