Starting Salary Range: $61,800.00 - $72,900.00 Position Summary: The Project Manager position is responsible for ensuring the success of capital projects through the management of the Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing process groups as defined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide (PMBOK). The Project Manager's main role is to proactively manage the coordination and communications of a project as it relates to the scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, procurement, and stakeholders. Essential Functions:Effectively manages the coordination, communication, and reporting of a project including guiding their team in developing a scope of work, schedule, and budget and then tracking and reporting to deliver the project on time and on budget while meeting scope and quality.Effective project managers will have a background that includes a balance of technical, interpersonal, conceptual, and time management skills that allow them to effectively manage a project team including internal and external resources.Successful candidates will be self-motivated leaders that can build and maintain a team, resolve conflicts, define clear roles and responsibilities, and work toward everyone's success.Successful candidates will possess interpersonal skills such as: leadership, team building, motivation, communication, influencing, decision making, political and cultural awareness, negotiation, trust building, conflict management, coaching.Participation in the continuous improvement of the Asset Management System and Work Management processes.Predictable and reliable attendance.Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Job Specifications: Required:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business or other related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have a minimum of zero to two years of related experience in project management, project design, or utility projects.Aware of the principles of Project Management as defined by the PMBOK Guide, 6th Edition.Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.Must have experience with Microsoft Office and be able to learn project scheduling software (Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project), and eBuilder (or a similar project/construction management software).Must have valid Ml driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
