Whether a planned project or an emergency response, Mersino meets challenges with expertise, equipment, and service.We move water.Job Summary:The primary responsibility of an Assembler is to complete assembly functions identified and specified, as well as position parts and sub-assemblies using templates or reading measurements, with precision and accuracy. The Assembler should also serve as a working team member and individual contributor to the overall team's success.Typical Duties and Responsibilities:Perform routine assembly functions based on written or verbal instructionsNot looking for a line worker, you will be reading schematics and putting pumps together with another team member.Read and evaluate assembly instructions to assure proper construction of productsCross trains to learn multiple functions in the production environmentAdhere to company and regulatory agency health and safety standardsComply with Quality and Environmental Policies applicable to daily work activitiesLoad and unload equipment and supplies as directedClean and organize shop and other areas as requiredEnsure that The Mersino Way is a guiding document in the day-to-day activities of each and every project that they manageQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMechanical experience with power tools is a must!Ability to use measurement tools and devicesSpecific Expectations:Ability to work effectively with othersAbility to multi-task in a changing environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirementsAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlinesStrong time management and organizational skillsRequires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkwardThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
