Job SummaryThe Landscape Irrigation Technician I is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to support healthy, attractive landscapes. This role follows established work plans, applies proper watering practices, and ensures irrigation systems operate efficiently and in compliance with company standards.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems
Repair or replace irrigation components including heads, nozzles, lines, and valves
Adjust and manage watering schedules using irrigation control systems
Manually activate and deactivate irrigation systems as required
Identify landscape stress related to overwatering or underwatering
Work collaboratively with landscape teams to maintain plant health and appearance
Follow safety policies, attend required training, and use PPE properly
QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience inspecting and maintaining irrigation systems
Experience operating commercial and residential irrigation control systems
Ability to operate basic landscape equipment and irrigation tools
Ability to use computers, tablets, and smartphones for reporting and system management
Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must be insurable
Ability to pass a background check
