Tax Analyst

DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our team in North Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will manage various tax compliance processes, analyze financial data, and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to optimize tax strategies and support business objectives.Responsibilities:- Prepare and distribute 1099 forms accurately and within required deadlines for vendors and property owners.- Oversee compliance for indirect taxes, including sales and use tax, as well as property tax obligations.- Ensure timely filing of annual reports, business license renewals, and census documents at state, county, and city levels.- Conduct financial data analysis to identify and address potential tax risks or opportunities for tax planning.- Maintain organized tax records, assist with audits, and address inquiries from tax authorities.- Work closely with internal departments and external consultants to ensure compliance and implement effective tax strategies.- Track and evaluate changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their implications for the organization.Requirements - Strong knowledge of corporate tax concepts and compliance processes.- Experience in preparing annual income tax provisions and related documentation.- Familiarity with payroll tax regulations and processes.- Background in managing commercial collections and related tax considerations.- Proficiency in handling electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments.- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
