The Pharmacy Technician Instructor will work closely with students, faculty, and industry professionals to ensure the delivery of a robust and relevant educational experience.Provide competency-based education that aligns with CHCP's curriculum model and supports the institution's delivery styleDevelop and deliver instructional plans that meet course competencies, incorporating activities that support lesson objectivesFacilitate the achievement of exit competencies by fostering student learning and establishing clear performance criteriaEstablish a conducive learning environment for both online and in-person instruction, ensuring student engagement and successDeliver timely and comprehensive feedback to students, particularly at mid-term, to support their academic progressPromote student success by demonstrating flexibility in teaching style and schedule while maintaining a passion for educationManage classroom operations, including maintaining accurate records, taking attendance, submitting grades, and enforcing academic policiesParticipate actively in faculty meetings, departmental discussions, and campus-wide initiativesContribute to campus service by engaging in special projects and committees annuallyIncorporate professional and industry experience into the curriculum to enhance learning outcomesAttend Program Advisory Committee meetings annually to provide insights on curriculum and program effectivenessPerform other duties as assigned to support the educational mission of CHCPNational Certified Pharmacy Technician, State Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Registered Pharmacist credentialsMinimum of 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacist, or 3 years of experience with an associate's degree or higherProficiency in IV Sterile Compounding and experience in hospital pharmacy settingsPrior teaching or training experience is preferredNationally Certified Pharmacy Technician and State Registered Pharmacy Technician certifications are requiredCHCP (The College of Health Care Professions) is a premier healthcare education institution offering comprehensive programs in allied health, nursing, and related fields.
