As a(an) CT Technologist with Tristar Bellevue ER you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back!Job Summary and QualificationsThe CT Tech performs CT scans and Diagnostic X-ray procedures, providing the highest level of customer service and image quality at the TriStar Bellevue Free-Standing ER.What You Will Do in This Role:You will perform both CT exams and Diagnostic X-rays following established protocols in a timely manner, ensuring a high quality of care in an emergency environment.You will prepare procedure trays with appropriate supplies and start IVs for contrast administration using a power injector. You will take patient history, retrieve necessary orders or prior images, and provide clinical signs and symptoms to the radiologist.You will inform patients about procedures, answer questions, and interact professionally with physicians, patients, and family members. You will coordinate patient flow, complete all documentation, and handle daily upkeep of departmental work areas (cleaning, stocking, etc.).You will support ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles and participate in quality (QI) and performance improvement (PI) plans.You will promote customer service initiatives by adhering to the ICARE values and complying with quarterly targeted metrics (e.g., Kronos, HealthStream, PACS).What Qualifications You Will NeedEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.Certification: Current ARRT (R) certification required.Advanced Registry: ARRT (CT) advanced registry preferred, or registry eligible with the requirement to obtain advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or 6 months of eligibility.Life Support: BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.Experience:1 year of post-graduate experience is preferred, specifically in an emergency or high-acuity setting as you will be working independently.BenefitsTristar Bellevue ER, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
