Essential FunctionsPreparing journal entries Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing adjusting journal entries Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts Assisting with initial internal control evaluations Posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits Assist with other projects as needed Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesEffective analytical skills to sort, check, and verify accounting figures Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Careful attention to detail Good communication skills Familiarity with enterprise business systems Strong Microsoft Office application knowledge (especially Excel) Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment and Physical DemandsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times In office environment TravelThis job requires no planned business travel.Education And Experience1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or administrative experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting Benefits:Continuous training and development programWe offer a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, supplement insurance plans, and a 401K with company match.The company benefits include life insurance and short and long-term disability.My Personal Health Assistant program for a healthier you.Disclaimer This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
