Your responsibilities will include: Soil Sampling: Collect and label samples with precision to ensure the highest data quality. Boundary and Crop Mapping: Utilize GPS and GIS software to map agricultural boundaries and crops. Daily Reporting/Tracking: Accurately report and track daily job progress. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, representing Deveron professionally in all interactions. What We Require: Outdoor Enthusiast: Comfortable working in all weather conditions (cold, snow, rain, wind, sun, etc.). Self-Motivated: Confident working independently with high levels of self-motivation. Physical Fitness: Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and walk for extended periods in fields. Technology Competence: Proficient with technology including email, Excel, handheld GPS units, Google Earth, and GIS software. Experience: Prior experience operating a pickup truck with trailer and ATV is required (valid driver’s license and motor vehicle records check and clean driving record required). Adaptability: High level of adaptability and eagerness to learn; willing to undergo thorough training. Bonus Points: Precision Agriculture Experience: Familiarity with precision agriculture is a plus. Availability: Must be available Monday- Friday and weekends up to 65 plus hours a week.
