Experience with medical-surgical, orthopedic, trauma, and neurology patients. License: State physical therapy license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience as an Acute Care Physical Therapist Description: Physical Therapist needed for an adult acute care setting for a 12-week contract. The schedule consists of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend rotation coverage will be required approximately three instances, with a compensatory day off during the week provided. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating adult patients in acute care, addressing diagnoses that may include total joints, trauma, general medical, medical-surgical, transplantation, neurosurgery, and neurology. The work will be performed in a fast-paced acute care environment alongside an interdisciplinary team within a level I trauma center. The electronic medical record system used is Epic. A state physical therapy license and BLS certification are required. This position requires a commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration within the healthcare team.
