Senior COBOL Mainframe Developer

Required SkillsRequired: This CW position requires a BA/BS in Information Systems or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer using the following technologies:- COBOL- TSO/ISPF- JCL- Expert knowledge in DB2- One or more: QMF, Rocket Shuttle, Topaz/DevX Workbench IDE- MVS Utilities- Xpediter- FileAid, AbendAid- Scripting and automation tools and techniques- Jira, or similar agile tracking softwareRequired Skills:- At least 4 years of mainframe-based application development experience.- Demonstrated knowledge of COBOL applications running under CICS and/or COBOL batch applications.- Strongly demonstrated knowledge of DB2, including complex multi-table queries; imbedded SQL in COBOL, and DB2 batch applications.- Demonstrated knowledge and best practices of testing environments and processes- Strong testing skills- Excellent problem solving skills- Strong analytical skills- Excellent verbal and written communications skills- Familiar with structured programming techniques- Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision- Strong documentation skills
