Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary As a Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across various projects. Your expertise will shine as you work on both commercial and industrial sites, tackling everything from high voltage installations to low voltage systems. You’ll be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics, utilizing your skills with hand tools and power tools to deliver exceptional results. What you’ll do Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) Troubleshoot and resolve issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other electrical components Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute projects accurately Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems during renovation projects Utilize ohmmeters and other testing equipment to verify system functionality Perform routine inspections and maintenance on high voltage and low voltage systems Provide support in frame carpentry tasks as needed, showcasing your maintenance person experience Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites Basic qualifications Proven experience as an electrician in both commercial and industrial settings Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety protocols, and best practices Preferred qualifications Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications in industrial settings Ability to read complex schematics and blueprints effectively Why you’ll love it here We’re dedicated to fostering an environment where our team members can thrive both personally and professionally.
