What You'll Do: The RN Supervisor is an intricate part of a multi-tiered nursing team that includes Nurse Managers, Desk Nurses, Treatment Nurses and Assessment Nurses. Oversee residents' continuity of careSupervise the activities performed by Charge Nurses, CNA's and all other non-licensed staff during assigned shiftsResponsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of unitsResponsibilities may include but are not limited to employee training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and problem solving RN Supervisor Requirements:Current and valid Pennsylvania RN licenseAn associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical nursing schoolProgressive professional experience in long-term care nursing supervision/managementExtensive knowledge of RAI process and Quality MeasuresWorking knowledge of PharmacologyWorking knowledge of Medicare Part A and Part B payment systemsCompetency in skills and techniques to meet residents' needs identified through assessments and care plan Why Join United Methodist Homes?
