Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Teacher Assistant at Cypress Montessori School, located in Greater Houston. The Teacher Assistant will be responsible for supporting lead teachers in the classroom, helping to implement lesson plans, and assisting students with activities. Daily tasks will include engaging with children during educational and recreational activities, maintaining a clean and organized learning environment, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff to support a positive and productive learning experience. Qualifications Experience or skills in Assistant Teaching to support lead teachers and facilitate classroom activities.Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and fellow staff members.Knowledge of Education and curriculum development, with an ability to assist in lesson planning and instructional support.Proficiency in Mathematics to support students in their learning and problem-solving activities.Experience in Working With Children, showcasing patience, empathy, and the ability to create a supportive learning atmosphere.Ability to follow the Montessori principles and adapt to individual student needs.High school diploma or equivalent required; pursuing or holding a degree in Education or a related field is preferred.First aid and CPR certification preferred.
