Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/SurgicalLocation: Beverly, MassachusettsEmployment Type: Travel ContractShift: Rotating (Evenings: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM with day rotation: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekContract Length: 13 weeksJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team. This travel position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and possess excellent clinical and communication skills.Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions.Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments per protocol.Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and wellness.Adhere to infection control standards and maintain patient safety. Qualifications:Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (required at submission).Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience (preferred).Certifications:Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).COVID-19 vaccination and booster, as well as the 2024-2025 flu vaccine (required).
