Learning and Development Manager

Our client in Baytown, TX is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to join their team on a full-time, direct-hire basis!Job DescriptionEstablish strong partnerships with the business to gain a strong understanding of current business issues and opportunities, as related to training, performance management and succession planning.Help the Company meet its objectives by developing & implementing high-impact learning & development programs in line with business needs and priorities.Conduct organizational needs analysis and create training plans to ensure that all employees have the required competencies to excel in their roles.Review and revise course materials to ensure they align with operating processes, procedures, and systems.Help managers develop their team members through career pathing and continued development.Responsible for executing strategies, processes and approaches related to integrated performance management.Create and oversee the implementation of the procedures that support and enhance employee performance as per the company’s objectivesAssist in the creation of organizational objectives and regularly review and assess ongoing performance management processes to evaluate whether they support employee performance and contribute to The Company's overarching business goals.Gather and assess business intelligence and the necessary data to assess employee performance and identify individual and departmental workplace issues and development barriers.Explain to employees the methodology of current or upcoming performance practices thoroughly and professionally and follow up with them to ensure organization-wide understanding.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, training and development, organizational development/ and/or behavior, organizational psychology or a related field is preferred.Over four (4) years of progressively responsible human resources experience with emphasis on training and development, organizational development and performance management.Strong project management skills, capable of coordinating multiple learning initiatives simultaneously.Experience planning, designing, implementing, and conducting training to a diverse level of management and employeesProficient in using learning management systems (LMS) and performance management platforms, UKG knowledge and experience is a plus.Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and collaborating effectively across departments.Strong understanding of staff relations and retention.
