We partner with parks departments, schools, childcare centers, HOAs, tribes, landscape architects, and developers to design and deliver custom playgrounds, shade structures, and recreational environments.Headquartered in Salem, Oregon, our team is passionate about building high-quality, inclusive spaces that make a lasting impact in communities throughout the Pacific Northwest.Position OverviewDue to continued growth in Washington, Park N Play Northwest is looking to add an Outside Sales Consultant to support and expand our Washington territory.This position is being created to help support our existing Washington sales team member by dividing and strengthening territory coverage across the state. We are looking for someone excited to help grow relationships, increase customer support, and expand opportunities within a rapidly growing market.This is a remote, field-based position. You’ll work from your home office while regularly meeting with customers, conducting site visits, attending events, and traveling throughout your assigned territory.The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable managing projects from initial conversations through project completion.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain relationships with clients throughout your assigned Washington territoryGenerate leads and develop new business opportunitiesMeet with municipalities, schools, childcare centers, landscape architects, developers, HOAs, tribes, and community organizationsConduct customer meetings, site visits, and project presentationsHelp clients develop customized playground and recreation solutions that meet their goals and budgetsPrepare proposals, estimates, and project presentationsCoordinate with manufacturers, designers, vendors, and internal teams to support successful projectsAttend trade shows, conferences, networking events, and industry meetingsManage and maintain an organized sales pipeline and provide strong customer follow-throughQualificationsProven experience in outside sales, consultative sales, or business developmentStrong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectivelyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable presenting ideas, preparing proposals, and guiding customers through projectsProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/sales softwareValid driver’s license and reliable personal vehiclePreferred:Experience in commercial playgrounds, recreation, construction, education, parks, landscape architecture, or related industriesDesign, estimating, or project management experience is a plus but not requiredTravel RequirementsRegular travel throughout your assigned Washington territorySome overnight travel required for customer meetings, conferences, and eventsReliable vehicle required for business travelAbility to attend occasional meetings, trainings, and team collaboration sessions at our Salem, Oregon officeCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary + commission + performance bonusesHealth benefitsPaid time offOpportunity for growth within a family-owned, growing companyMeaningful work creating spaces that positively impact communities and familiesIf you enjoy relationship-based sales, working independently, and helping communities create amazing outdoor spaces, we’d love to connect.
