High School English Teacher

Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time high school English teacher at Bethany High School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have a strong background in English literature and language arts.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and standards- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth- Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning- Attend staff meetings and school events as requiredRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field (Master's degree preferred)- Oklahoma Teaching certification required in English or related field- Strong knowledge of English literature and language arts- Experience teaching high school students- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
