Job Title: Emergency Medical Responder InstructorReports to: PrincipalType of position: Non-Exempt Salary ScheduleRappahannock County High School is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) for one class block daily.The EMR course introduces students to emergency medical systems and prepares them to provide immediate, life-saving care while awaiting additional EMS resources. Additional course topics include:Introduction to EMS systems and responder rolesAnatomy and physiologyMedical emergenciesTrauma careSpecial considerations in the pre-hospital setting Successful completion may qualify students to pursue the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) EMR exam. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality instruction to RCHS students in a flexible, part-time format.Collaborate with RCHS staff and administrators to ensure alignment with school curriculum goals and state standards.Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that fosters student growth and learning.Maintain regular communication with students, families, and school staffQualificationsWe are seeking individuals who are credentialed and have demonstrated expertise in emergency response and the medical field.Salary Scale: Adjunct Salary Scale
