USD $44.00 - USD $50.00 /Hr.Registered Dietitian$3,000 Sign on BonusPawtucket Falls is seeking a Registered Dietitian who is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nutritional care for residents in accordance with physician orders, regulatory requirements, and facility policies. The Dietitian ensures residents receive proper nutrition to support their health, well-being, and quality of life.Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) credential requiredLicensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LD/LDN) as required by state (Rhode Island required)Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related fieldExperience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferredStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsKnowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition supportExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and documentation skillsConduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents upon admission and as requiredDevelop and implement individualized nutrition care plansMonitor residents' nutritional status and adjust care plans as neededWork closely with nursing, dietary, and interdisciplinary teamsEnsure compliance with physician diet orders and therapeutic dietsParticipate in care plan meetings and resident reviewsProvide nutrition education to residents, families, and staffMonitor weight changes, labs, and overall nutritional indicatorsEnsure compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulationsOversee food service operations in collaboration with dietary staff (as applicable)Conduct sanitation and infection control audits within the dietary departmentAssist with menu planning and ensure meals meet nutritional guidelinesMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical recordFollow infection control and safety protocolsAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the facilityOccasional lifting (up to 25–30 lbs)Ability to attend meetings and conduct resident visitsMust comply with all federal, state, and local regulations (including CMS guidelines)Adhere to HIPAA and resident confidentiality standards
