As developer, you will be responsible for creating, debugging, and documenting computer software for the Linux operating system. You will respond to any security or privacy breaches and prevent unauthorized access to our data. The ideal candidate is honest, reliable, and has a proven record of accomplishment in creating software, documenting system performance, and highly detailed customer assistance support. Responsibilities Three years of professional software development experienceThree years of experience writing in: Python, C, C++Demonstrated experience performing Software Configuration ManagementDemonstrated experience in reverse engineering, vulnerability research and exploitation on Linux PlatformsExperience with Hypervisors is a bonusTS/SCI clearance with upgrade to Full Scope (if they don't have it) while on contractOn site development in Chantilly VA (our headquarters is in Perry Hall, MD) but this job will be stationed on site Chantilly VAQualificationsA bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred Previous experience as a Computer Security Specialist, Cybersecurity Analyst, or similar role is preferredStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to work well as part of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of C++ and PHP languages are preferredKnowledge of risk management methodologies and security frameworksFamiliarity with intrusion detection/prevention systemsFamiliarity with public key infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic protocols (e.g. SSL/ TLS)
