Body Shop Technician
Job Summary:
S & L Motors, a leading automotive dealership in Wisconsin, is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires an individual who is passionate about cars and has the necessary skills and experience to provide high-quality body repair services. As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and painting damaged vehicles, ensuring they are restored to their pre-accident condition.
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer competitive pay for this flat rate role, with a pay range of $18 to $26 per hour. Additionally, we provide biweekly pay, allowing you to be compensated for your hard work in a timely manner. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed
Utilize various tools, equipment, and techniques to repair body damage, such as welding, sanding, and painting
Follow manufacturer's specifications and guidelines to ensure repairs are done in a safe and effective manner
Communicate with customers and provide updates on repair progress
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Body Shop Technician
Proven skills in repairing and painting damaged vehicles
In-depth knowledge of various tools, equipment, and techniques used in body repair
Ability to read and interpret manufacturer's specifications and guidelines
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check
